This three-day camping trip is geared to invite and encourage the youth to get to know who they are and how they may further connect to their culture. This adventure is the grand finale to CNYC’s Culture Camp series, which take place throughout the summer at CNYC. These preliminary sessions will have prepared the youth and provided them with the skills and knowledge for the camping trip, although it is not mandatory to have attended these sessions to get to attend the camping trip.
The camping trip will take place at Blaine Lake, just an hour outside of Saskatoon, from Friday, August 12th to Sunday, August 14th. Everything you could possibly ask for from a camping trip will be included: campfires, songs, stories, roasting hot dogs and marsh mellows, hiking in nature and a teepee sleepover. All youth between the ages of 12-25 are welcome to participate!
Hey visitor! Thanks for stopping by CNYC. We hate to bug you, but you should really sign up to the CNYC e-newsletter. This is the best way of staying on top of all of our awesome programming for youth in Saskatoon's core neighbourhoods.
