CNYC Indigenous Culture Camp

From May until August this summer, CNYC is hosting a Culture Camp with pre-camp sessions running May-August. Youth aged 12-25 are welcome to drop into CNYC to learn about Aboriginal culture, practices and arts. The pre-camp sessions are intended to prepare youth to go on a three-day, two-night camping trip in mid-August. These skill-building sessions are facilitated by our camp coordinator are include a wide range of cultural teachings and activities including drum making, rattle making, nature walks and much more!

Word on the Street is back by popular demand! CNYC is excited to announce that we will be reinstating our youth-directed newsletter, Word on the Street (WOTS) in the coming months. Except this time it is online and will include films, music, photography, podcasts and multi-media art projects along with written works, all created by youth at CNYC.
