Future Artistic Minds

Future Artistic Minds (FAM) is an Indigenous-ran, youth-led art collective. We aim to provide safer spaces for youth to gather, practice artistic expression, build relationships with their peers and local community members, and develop their technical skills as an artist. Youth work with artist mentors and guest artists to strengthen their skills in visual art, digital photography, filmmaking, graphic art and design, and recording and music production.

FAM helps to break down systemic barriers by providing free access to art studios in safe, affirming spaces that encourage youth to develop, experiment and explore new art mediums.

FAM get-togethers are held every Tuesday Night
from 4:30pm – 8:30pm at CNYC (905 20th Street West)
